Practical information
You can come to Asiat Park by car. However, we encourage everyone to use public transportation whenever possible, as this is the most sustainable option.
By car:
There are ample parking spaces for participants, including accessible parking spaces for visitors with reduced mobility. However, we encourage carpooling. The more people in one car, the more sustainable it is. That is why we charge a limited fee of five euros per parking space and ask you to purchase a parking ticket in advance. One week in advance, we will assign you a personal parking space.
Public transportation:
Vilvoorde Railway Station is located on the direct line between Brussels and Antwerp. In front of the railway station, you can take several busses. Recommended busses from Vilvoorde Railway Station are line 1 to Grimbergen Verbrande Brug (3th stop) and line 82 to Mechelen Station (3th stop). Your bus stop is Vilvoorde Kerkhof, which is a 250-meter walk to the main entrance of Asiat Park (Mechelsesteenweg 255, 1800 Vilvoorde). If you need mobility assistance, please let us know in advance, so we can support you.
Shuttle service:
Our partner Get Driven will provide free shuttle services for the participants of our congress, with accessible vehicles available upon request. When arriving at the railway station, you will be dropped off directly at the entrance of the congress. At the latest one week before the congress, all participants will receive an email with practical information. This email will also contain more information about the exact times of the shuttle service.
